Rossholme Education Centre opened 7 years ago – and Marilyn and John Parker have visited every year since then, except in 2020. The only other visitors were a Sisterhood group from South Africa in 2018.
This year there have been three groups of visitors from the US. In June, a family from California spent time with our students. Then in July, a family from Noroton Presbyterian in Darien, Connecticut enjoyed playing games and having a special lunch with 300 of our students who came to school to meet them – on a Saturday.
And in August, a supporter who lives in Texas, came to visit our school with three friends. One is also from Texas, and a couple are from Monroe, Connecticut.
We thank God for these new friends who encourage and inspire us to keep doing our very best to educate little children in Kiambiu slum.
